The new MacRadio site will debut at the Podcast and New Media Expo, which will take place September 28 - 30, 2007, at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California.

The new MacRadio site will debut at the Podcast and New Media Expo, which will take place September 28 - 30, 2007, at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California.
MacRadio will be offering access to Mac-centric podcasts listed in the directory, with the ability for users to browse or search through categories and tags to find the right podcast for them. In addition, users may access the podcast streams, enabling them to enjoy the podcast through the embedded Quicktime Player, rate podcasts, comment and tag them, and even subscribe to the original feed. MacRadio also provides the unique Tag Subscription service, which allows users to subscribe to all podcasts with a particular tag.
"The Mac community continues to be a vibrant and exciting place," said CEO Omaha Sternberg. "But the community lacks a place for Mac users to come together and share, in an audio, video, and text setting, their Mac-centric views."
The MacRadio Podcast Directory has launched to provide such a place. The site includes access to podcast streams as well as a community forum. Over the coming months, MacRadio will be adding new features to expand the community.
All MacRadio Internet radio programs are now available free as a podcast through the MacRadio website at http://www.macradio.com. In addition, Mac-centric podcasts can submit their podcasts to the site, and users can invite a podcast onto the site. Some features are available to members of the site only. Membership is free.
To tune in, users must have QuickTime 5 and above. To subscribe to the original podcast feed, users must have iTunes 4.9 or other MP3 enabled software (such as myPodder).
The MacRadio Podcast Directory is a division of MacBroadcast, LLC. MacRadio is the only Macintosh focused podcast directory on the Internet.
