On board was one of the judges on the competition, Tyra Banks, who set foot on the ship two days in -- much to the surprise of the contestants, reports Cruise Critic. Program makers also shot a number of spectacular scenes during the trip, including images of Antigua and Puerto Rico, the publication said.
President and chief executive of Royal Caribbean Adam Goldstein is rumored to be a huge fan of the show and didn't have to think about the proposition when executives approached up to see if the ship could feature in an episode.
The winner of America's Next Top Model walks away with a lucrative modeling contract plus a prize of $100,000 (£49,343).
