InkAfterlife.com has developed a technology to blend cremation ashes and ink to create full color remembrance photographs of loved ones or pets.

Edson, KS (PRWEB) September 29, 2007 -- InkAfterlife.com has developed a technology to blend cremation ashes and ink to create full color remembrance photographs of loved ones or pets. Each photograph is a custom work of art created by carefully blending the perfect amount of ash with a special ink formulation. Using specially designed equipment at the companies state of the art facility the blended ink is injected into a special inkjet cartridge which is then used to print an unforgettable memorial photograph of various sizes and on various mediums. As an example, the company can print a portrait photograph on canvas that will resemble a painting or wallet size print on glossy photo paper.

Consumers are sent a secure bar-coded vial and instructions. They fill the vial with the desired ashes, typically around one ounce, and return them, with a photo, to InkAfterlife.com which then prepares and blends those ashes with a special formulation of ink. The company scans the photo then prints a high quality black and white or full color copy using the blended ink. Inkaferlife understands the unexpected high costs associated with death and the funeral process. To make this one of a kind custom service available to all, prices start at just $34. The process typically takes four to six weeks.

The process was developed by inkjet cartridge recycling entrepreneur Ben Bohannon after his grandparents passed away last year and were cremated. He wanted something more personal, portable and meaningful than an urn. This exciting new technology is part of a new service the company plans to offer worldwide.
