"Viruses: They're in Your Hands"
(PRWEB) September 1, 2007 -- eHospitality Institute announced today it will partner with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and participate in the 2007 National Food Safety Education Month ®, this September, to showcase its commitment to food safety education and training. This year's theme, "Viruses: They're in Your Hands", focuses on the procedures necessary for proper handwashing and reporting of illness.
This annual food safety campaign strives to: build awareness of the restaurant and foodservice industry's commitment to serving safe food, heighten awareness about the importance of food safety education and encourage additional food safety training for all industry employees.
eHospitality Institute introduces a cost effective Food Safety Training and Certification process that guarantees those who turn to EHIVU, the Virtual University of eHospitality Institute, free accredited instructors assistance to assure comprehension and receive certification. This new program (completely internet based) offers students the ability to study at their own pace, and on their own time, eliminating time off from daily operations. "We are excited about participating in this month-long campaign," said Kip Jaros, Ph.D., Director of eHospitality Institute & Restaurant Workshop. "The public is aware of food safety now more than ever before, and through National Food Safety Education Month, we have the opportunity to highlight what we are doing in the restaurant and foodservice industry to educate foodservice employees on proper food safety procedures."
