Welstar is proud to host Inscapes the painting of Anne Ierardi. The art show will open with a reception on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 5:30 pm and the show will run until December 1, 2007. Welstar patrons will be able to view Ierardi's paintings throughout the spa's common areas and treatment rooms after the shows opening night.
Orleans, MA (PRWEB) September 4, 2007 -- Welstar is proud to host Inscapes the painting of Anne Ierardi. The art show will open with a reception on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 5:30 pm and the show will run until December 1, 2007. Welstar patrons will be able to view Ierardi's paintings throughout the spa's common areas and treatment rooms after the shows opening night.
Anne Ierardi's paintings are expressive in their use of color, composition, rhythm and meaning. Anne Ierardi has exhibited throughout Cape Cod including the Provincetown Art Museum, Cultural Center of Cape Cod, and at Two Marlborough Gallery in Newport, Rhode Island and Andover-Newton Theological School in Newton, MA. Her early studies began in Boston and California at Emmanuel College and California Lutheran University followed by a semester in Florence, Italy focusing on painting and Renaissance art history. After she moved to Cape Cod in 1989 she went to Castle Hill Center for the Arts and The Fine Arts Work Center working with many fine mentors including Salvatore Del Deo, Cynthia Packard, John Grillo and Selina Trieff.
Ierardi is cofounder of Healthsigns Center, Inc., in Yarmouthport where she offers groups on the Artist's Way. She illustrated the book Walking with Grief: A Healing Journey, with poetry by Nanette Geertz.
Anne belives that,

All of my paintings function as a 'landscape of the imagination' -- and beckon viewers to sense their own imagination. My work is devoted to moving the human spirit and stirring in us what is asleep."
