Seattle (PRWEB) September 18, 2007 -- Earth Class Mail Corp. is the winner of a 2007 Brilliant Award for Business Innovation. The award celebrates solutions that go beyond "green" to generate real economic value while mitigating negative environmental impact.

"In a world driven by economics, it is not enough to be considered 'green'," says P.S. Reilly, conference chair of Discover Brilliant 2007 and CEO of Athena Institute. "Earth Class Mail is revolutionizing the way individuals and businesses access snail mail by creating a high efficiency, yet low waste system, which allows individuals to access postal mail online - from anywhere in the world."

"We are honored to be recognized as one of the North American leaders creating solutions which enable global sustainability by offering a combination of fiscal and environmental savings," says Ron Wiener, CEO and founder of Earth Class Mail.

By empowering clients to manage their postal mail online, Earth Class Mail significantly decreases costs of document management and mail-forwarding for companies of various sizes, as well as consumers. The environment also benefits because Earth Class Mail customers choose to recycle more than 90% of their postal mail, in comparison with the average person who recycles only 20%. Additionally, delivering postal mail online reduces the use of trucks and planes and saves thousands of gallons of fuel.

The first-ever 2007 Brilliant Awards celebrate solutions that are economically valuable, environmentally sound, and more secure. Winners will accept the Brilliant Awards at a "Green" Tie Gala event Tues., Sept. 18, 2007 during the Discover Brilliant 2007 International Conference and Expo at the Seattle Sheraton. In addition to Earth Class Mail, other 2007 Brilliant Award recipients include Flexcar Car Sharing, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, the City of Santa Monica, and Dockside Green in Victoria, BC.
