Seven top law firms select the SRC Workshare solution. The solution enables Data Leakage Protection (DLP) and will streamline and accelerate how documents are compared and reviewed.

London (PRWEB) July 18, 2008 -- Seven top law firms - Ashfords, Burges Salmon, Devonshire, Halliwells, Macfarlanes, McCann FitzGerald and Shepherd and Wedderburn - have each signed contracts with SRC, the document creation professionals, for the provision of the Workshare Professional software. The multifunctional solution will streamline and accelerate how documents are compared and reviewed as well as enabling each firm to deploy Data Leakage Protection (DLP) measures across their desktop PC's.

Workshare Professional includes sophisticated and yet easy to use DLP facilities including the policy designer, which enables management to develop firm wide and user specific rules that are triggered when documents are sent externally via email or transferred onto removable data storage, such as USB sticks and CD ROMs. With the policies in place, documents are scanned for sensitive information and if a violation or hidden data is identified, Workshare will either block the document being sent or transferred or will alert the user that there is a content risk with suggested actions to remove the risk.

As well as Data Leakage Protection the SRC Workshare solution will benefit the firms by providing a fast and economical way to compare documents and easily understand detailed changes. The solution also enables multiple versions of documents in varying formats to be compared so that proposed changes can by quickly reviewed and incorporated into the master document. Workshare Professional contains powerful converter functionality, which enables PDF documents to be converted into Microsoft Word for editing.

SRC will work with each law firm to set up the solution to meet their individual needs. Chris Hart, CEO of SRC said: "SRC is committed to providing solutions that create greater efficiencies and cost savings throughout the document lifecycle. The business case for implementing the SRC Workshare solution is overwhelming, especially when the impact of the potential for leakage of sensitive data is considered. Our successful relationship with many law firms, which typically stretches back over many years, demonstrates the importance of providing optimum solutions and excellence in deployment and support services."

SRC also specialises in the provision of digital dictation and speech recognition solutions and full details on SRC's range of solutions can be found at www.src.co.uk
