The patent application, filed through Manhattan-based law firm Fulbright & Jaworski, covers the proprietary processes and algorithms created by developers to make the production and operation of the unique online Point Pool possible.
Based on actual NFL game winners and losers, Point Pool is radically different from other pools in several respects. First, it is a season-long game of strategy, knowledge and luck. It differs from fantasy leagues by placing the focus on game results instead of on individual player statistics.
