America's Next Cooking Celebrity Online Video Contest Launched by Better Homes and Gardens Magazine's BetterRecipes.com

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 19, 2008 -- Better Homes and Gardens magazine's BetterRecipes.com (http://www.betterrecipes.com) has launched America's Next Cooking Celebrity online video contest. To enter, upload your online cooking videos to BetterRecipes's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/betterrecipes).

A panel of judges will determine America's next cooking celebrity. Two semi finalists will travel to the famous Better Homes and Gardens test kitchen for a cook off, which will air on the Better Today television show. The winner will have her or her very own cookbook published.

Jennifer Darling, Executive Editor, Better Recipes.com said, "You could be America's Next Cooking Celebrity. Upload your YouTube video and share your cooking skills. Judging will be based on air personality, abilities in the kitchen, as well as the recipe itself."

To enter America's Next Cooking Celebrity online video contest, upload a 1-3 minute video to YouTube. Then submit it to the contest page between now and October 6, 2008. Then submit it to the Groups page between now and October 6, 2008. For upload instructions go to http://www.youtube.com/betterrecipes.

Online Video Contest Cook-Off:
Two finalists from America's Next Cooking Celebrity online video contest will be flown to Des Moines, Iowa, for a Cook-Off in the Better Homes and Gardens Test Kitchen.

YouTube Video Contest Prizes:
The grand prize in America's Next Cooking Celebrity YouTube video contest is a published cookbook created by the winner, a Sony Camcorder, and an appearance on the Better Today television show. Ten honorable mentions will receive a Sony Digital Camera.
