One Source Entertainment announces a unique new website -- Get OuttoLiveMusic.com
Chattanooga, TN (PRWEB) August 26, 2008 -- Chattanooga-based One Source Entertainment, LLC launched www.getouttolivemusic.com to help music lovers all over the world find live music. "Genre-based searches and notifications make this a powerful tool for music lovers to find live events and for musicians or venues to manage schedules or connect with old and new fans," said Steve Gibbon, CEO of One Source Entertainment.
The concept is simple. Music lovers create a short profile with some basic information about favorite genre(s) of music and location. At each log-in, a default query displays a list of live music events happening within the next 30 days in that location specific to the genre(s). Ad hoc queries collect and display a list of events for other locations, date ranges, or genres.
Musicians or venues will use the website for managing a schedule or promoting events. When musicians or venues publish and maintain performance schedules at Get Out to Live Music, member music lovers of the genre(s) in that location will see those schedules in the list of events. The advantage Get Out to Live Music offers is a chance for all fans of a genre to see the schedules, not just current fans.
Currently, the website is in Beta version. Only the basic membership (free) is available. A modest fee will be charged for planned buy-up memberships. Five percent (5%) of these fees will be contributed to non-profit organizations that provide assistance to musicians.
