"Play & Stay Retirement Seminar" at Waterville Valley Resort

Waterville Valley, NH (PRWEB) September 7, 2008 -- Waterville Valley Resort is sponsoring a "Play & Stay Retirement Seminar" September 27 and 28 for persons nearing or thinking about retirement. The seminar is $25 per day, or free if attendees also book an overnight stay at a participating Waterville Valley Resort lodge.

Experts will lead workshops on long-term care insurance, financial planning, nutrition for active adults, wills and advance directives, active retirement choices and caring for one's joints. Registrants for the seminars may also participate in a golf or tennis outing in Waterville Valley, a Saturday evening cocktail reception and a home tour.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Waterville Valley Conference Center. Contact Jan Stearns to pre-register and book lodging accommodations at 603-236-3333, or by email wci @ wvnh.com.

Saturday workshops run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a break for lunch, which attendees will find on their own. Golf begins at 4 p.m. at the Waterville Valley Golf Club. Sunday's workshops begin at 9:30 and run until noon. The home tour is via trolley from 1:30 to 3 p.m., with a tennis outing starting at 3 p.m.
