Garnet Valley, PA (PRWEB) September 9, 2008 -- SocketLabs, Inc., the leading provider of on-premise high volume marketing and transactional email delivery solutions for the Microsoft Windows platform, announced today that, Reed Business Information Australia, a Reed Elsevier company, has selected Hurricane Server to deliver its growing volume of publication e-newsletters.

Reed Business Information is Australia's leading B2B publisher and information provider. One area that provides significant advertising revenue is the distribution of e-newsletters to their subscribers. It is critical to their business and their advertisers that the e-newsletters that people sign-up to receive on a daily or weekly basis get into the inboxes of their subscribers. Their previous email delivery platform did not have the advanced email deliverability features to help insure bulk delivery of these critical emails to the large ISP's.

We are extremely pleased to be able to help solve an email delivery issue for such a prestigious publication company such as Reed
"Hurricane Server significantly increased our delivery rate. We generated more traffic to our sites and a greater return for our advertisers. More importantly we can keep our relationship with our readers alive retaining brand loyalty and future proofing our business. We've seen many additional benefits. List management, ISP problem resolution and we're now in a position to scale our email driven business rapidly. The team at SocketLabs have become a true partner, and offered assistance with our migration and roll-out. I'd personally recommend SocketLabs and Hurricane Server," said Ben Sole, COO, Online, RBI Australia.

Reed chose Hurricane Server because SocketLabs was able to demonstrate that not only would the advanced deliverability features would vastly improve getting their e-newsletters to their subscribers inbox but, also provided a superior web management console for maintaining and trouble-shooting email related problems. Hurricane Server was also a good fit because their current in-house applications ran on Microsoft .NET technology and gave Reed the ability to integrate directly with Hurricane Server through its .NET API.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to help solve an email delivery issue for such a prestigious publication company such as Reed," remarked John Alessi, President of SocketLabs. "Hurricane Server provides Reed with an enterprise class MTA that integrates seamlessly with their existing software and helps insure their business critical e-newsletters make it into the inboxes of their subscribers."
