Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 22, 2008 -- Renderosity launched today its 8th annual Halloween Design Contest. This year's event is open to Renderosity members who create content in one of the following five categories: 3D, 2D, animation, photography and writing. Membership to Renderosity is free for everyone, including non-members interested in participating in this and future contests.
Prizes totaling over $38,000 will be available to winners voted by the community. Prize Sponsors include the following leaders in the computer graphics industry: Autodesk, Craft Animations, Corel, Reallusion, E-on Software, Autodessys, Project Dogwaffle, MediaChance, Smith Micro, Photoshop Café, ResPower, Imagineer Systems, Antics3D, Bondware Web Solutions, and MovieStorm.
This year's theme, "Carnival of Evil" was selected by the members. All 2D and 3D cg artists are invited to submit their artwork. The contest is now open and entries will be accepted until October 15th, 2008. All entries will then go to Renderosity's community members of over half a million digital artists for voting, and the winners will be announced on Halloween.
