BTI Systems Receives MEF Carrier Ethernet Certification

As part of its commitment to the MEF, BTI has certified its Dual GE Muxponder product line to the MEF 9 Carrier Ethernet technical standard.

BTI Systems underwent testing by Iometrix, the networking industry's preeminent testing authority, in accordance with the MEF approved test plans for MEF 9. MEF 9 certification confirms Ethernet service conformity at the user network interface (UNI), where the subscriber's and service provider's responsibilities meet. The results demonstrate that BTI's Dual GE Muxponder products deliver Ethernet Private Line (EPL) services compliant with the technical standard.
