Harrisburg, PA (PRWEB) January 20, 2008 -- Take a break from the winter blues with Keystone Human Services' annual chocolate celebrations, Chocolatefest and the Chocolate Ball, on Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3 in Hershey, PA. The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center will once again be aglow with all things sweet for Sunday's Chocolatefest, a family-friendly celebration highlighting the offerings of regional restaurants, retailers, bakeries, spas and more. Ushering in Chocolatefest is the glamorous Chocolate Ball, a delectable black tie gala in the Hershey Lodge's Chocolate Ballroom.

Both events benefit the invaluable work of Keystone Human Services, and both were awarded Harrisburg Magazine's 2007 Simply the Best recognition: Chocolatefest received Simply the Best Themed Fundraiser honors, and the Chocolate Ball was a Reader's Choice selection for Black Tie Charity Ball.

Chocolatefest is a chocolate lover's dream, featuring chocolate samplings, raffles and a multitude of special events in honor of the sweet tooth. Explore the booths of over 80 local businesses and organizations, and don't forget to try your luck at the exciting giveaways in the silent auction and basket raffle. Chocolatefest 2008 features musical entertainment from local high school jazz ensembles, and emcee duties will be vested in WGAL 8's Doug Allen. Always a crowd-pleaser, the Chocolatefest cake decorating competition highlights the fondant finesse of local individual bakers, restaurants and bakeries.

To maximize your opportunity to attend, Chocolatefest has three event sessions: a Premiere Reception from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and two event sessions from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. and from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $50 for the Premiere Reception, $20 for an afternoon session in advance and $25 at the door, as available. Tickets for children 5-12 may be purchased for $5. Event tickets can be purchased at the Hershey Lodge, Boscov's and Weis Markets, or by calling 717-232-7509 or visiting www.keystonehumanservices.org.

Commence your weekend of sweet celebration with Saturday night's formal fete, the Chocolate Ball. The theme of this year's ball is Brazil, and the tropical tribute, featuring Carnaval-inspired décor and delicious cuisine, will be the perfect escape from a frosty winter's night. Guests can join the fun of a live auction hosted by John Carl or take a turn on the lively dance floor as jazz fusion aficionados Blitz Dynette generate some heat with their samba-infused musical stylings, In an exciting new twist on the annual Chocolate Ball raffle, participants will purchase keys to unlock the Chocolate Ball Treasure Chest, and one lucky guest will win a glittering "treasure!"

The Chocolate Ball will commence in the Hershey Lodge's Chocolate Ballroom at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, and will run until midnight. Attire is black tie with colorful accessories. Individual tickets are $100 and can be purchased by calling 717-232-7509 or by visiting www.keystonehumanservices.org.
