In its efforts to facilitate the preparedness of our nation's first responders, Security Solutions International continues to expand its educational programs and workshops to include the most recent advances in the field of homeland security.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) January 20, 2008 -- In its efforts to facilitate the preparedness of our nation's first responders, Security Solutions International continues to expand its educational programs and workshops to include the most recent advances in the field of homeland security.

SSI's most recent addition is the "Jihad 2.0 - from virtual to physical" workshop through Hazard Threat Analysis Ltd. HTA has designed the workshop to visualize the Jihadi threat from a wide angle and treat the threat as a process with a foreseeable lifecycle, rather than an isolated incident.

By incorporating lectures like "the cyber sanctuary," this workshop will look into the techno-intelligence signatures- the signs, indications and traces that can assist in foretelling a future terror incident. These signatures are found increasingly in the local community, by the people who live within it or correspond with it regularly. The workshop will explore these various indicators and analyze how they can be used to assist in prediction of terror activity and detection of Jihadi terror cells. It will highlight the need to be alert to all stages of the Jihadi threat lifecycle, at all levels, utilizing a wide variety of information sources fused into a complete threat analysis.

HTA and SSI believe the information presented in Jihad 2.0 is highly relevant to all members of the counter-terrorism community who wish to acquire, and effectively apply, the innovative counter-measures that are required in order to win the war on terror. Detailed information about the availability of this workshop and other educational programs is available on the Security Solutions International website (www.homelandsecurityssi.com).
