Concrete Resurfacing Made Simple -- Site Re-Launch Offers New Sections, Tips

Providing information, education and products for decorative concrete resurfacing.

(PRWEB) January 31, 2008 -- The Decorative Concrete Kit (www.decorativeconcretekits.com) strategy is to provide a comprehensive resource for information, products and solutions for concrete resurfacing.

Due to client demand the site was taken down and completely redesigned during the past 4-5 months.

The new site now includes 3 sections.
1.   Surface preparation
2.   Decorative Concrete resurfacing Options
3.   Floor maintenance strategy

The entire site has become a kit of sorts. There are a few individual kits but the site was designed to create your own kit. Basically a 1 stop shop for the proper products and application information relating to interior concrete floors.

Products include concrete glue and paint removal, moisture remediation epoxy, specialty concrete cleaners and waterproofed. For decorative application options include acid stains, concrete dyes, concrete overlays, epoxy floor coatings and a modular floor system. Floor maintenance includes the same system and products used by image conscious grocery stores and big box retailers.

Most of the Kits clientèle are contractors and artisans but has built a loyal following of skilled do it yourself consumers.

One of the first Kits clients owned a plumbing company. His first project was a stained concrete garage floor. After that he purchased an overlay kit with stains and dyes for his basement and now epoxies for his commercial building.

Other clients are retailers and restaurant owners who had a professional applicator install a decorative concrete floor but needed a cleaning strategy for maintaining their floor. Decorative Concrete kits addressed that requirement with a cleaning kit with strategy, products and technical support.

One area of excitement for Decorative Concrete Kits (www.decorativeconcretekits.com) has been helping contractors expand their scope of services and advanced knowledge about concrete floors. If a contractor doesn't know about proper surface prep and maintenance the floors won't last. Surface prep and maintenance have been completely overlooked in this field.

As a result numerous contractors have been offering surface prep solutions and warranting their finished floor subject to a maintenance contract. This has enabled contractors to develop an additional service and help secure projects they otherwise wouldn't have landed. The experts at decorative Concrete Kits provide technical support for the contractor and their clients.

During the coming months Decorative Concrete Kits (www.decorativeconcretekits.com) will be launching a series of online educational programs relating to all aspects of concrete floors including new construction, coloring concrete, types of concrete, radiant heat, designing with concrete. The focus will remain the same, interior floors.
