The top prize for the "Best Overall Recruiting Blog," which includes a trip to Las Vegas courtesy of ZoomInfo, was awarded to Dave Mendoza for his Six Degrees From Dave blog.

Waltham, Mass. (PRWEB) January 23, 2008 -- ZoomInfo™, a business information search engine, is pleased to announce the winners of the 3rd annual RecruitingBlogs.com's "Best Recruiting Blogs of the Year" award. The awards allow readers to nominate and then vote for their favorite blogs across 10 recruiting- and HR-related topics.

The top prize for the "Best Overall Recruiting Blog," which includes a trip to Las Vegas courtesy of ZoomInfo, was awarded to Dave Mendoza for his Six Degrees From Dave blog. Mendoza secured 36 percent of the readers' votes. He also won in the "Best Recruiting Industry Blog" category.

"I have been doing these awards now for the last three years. Above all, the purpose is to have fun and bring some recognition and community to the writers of the recruiting blogs," said Jason Davis of RecruitingBlogs.com. "There are some very interesting and informative recruiting blogs out there and every year, there seems to be more and more. ZoomInfo has always supported community building activities within the recruiting industry blogosphere and I am very thankful for it. It makes these things a little easier to do."

"RecruitingBlogs.com has helped build a community around recruiters and HR professionals who blog, and we were thrilled to help support this year's awards program," said Tad Goltra, GM and vice president of ZoomInfo's recruiting business unit. "The winners - as well as all of the blog authors nominated - dedicate a significant amount of time to sharing best practices and advice to their peers. This awards program recognizes that hard work."

Winners of the remaining categories are:

"There is plenty of room out there for more blogs," said Donato Diorio, winner of the Best Recruiting Technology Blog. "What stops people from starting is that first post. I want to thank the people in the recruiting blog-o-sphere that kept pushing me to make that first post. The first one was work, now it is fun. Congrats to the other winners!"

"Wired and Hired and Hiring Revolution would like to thank everyone that voted for us during the competition," added Ryan Watkins, winner of Best Job Hunting Blog and Best Third Party Recruiting Blog. "We hope to honor our titles this year by continuing to provide the communications industry with the best content available online."
