For the next week, the search for North America’s Oldest Appliance continues! North America’s Oldest Appliance Contest is a nationwide call to find the oldest appliance, working or not, in the United States or Canada. Contestants wishing to enter should submit a 2 minute video of themselves and their appliance to apwagner.com.
Contestants will have the chance to win cash and new energy efficient appliances by competing in the contests six categories. The Absolute Oldest Appliance will win the grand prize of Three Brand New Whirlpool Appliances plus $1,000 in Cash! Winners will also be chosen for the Oldest Refrigerator, Oldest Range, Oldest Dryer and Oldest Washer.
New appliance owners can get in on the action as well. Submit a crazy, creative and entertaining video with your new appliances and enter to win the craziest video category. The winning entry will receive Three Brand New GE Appliances plus $1,000 in Cash! Only a few entries for this category have been received.
All winners will be announced on April 7, 2008. Video submissions will be judged on originality, creativity and age of the appliances.
