Winner of 'R U The Girl" gears up to release debut solo album.

So rather than become a seeker of an additional 15 minutes of fame, O'So took time off to complete her college education and record her debut solo album, The Pink Album.
The first single, "Slumber Party" featuring artist King Official, is a fun-filled mid-tempo tune that describes the ultimate slumber party, beginning as a night with the girls and later swirling into a completely chaotic house party including food fights, dancing and lots of fun. Produced by Russ Castella (Rhianna, Rockell), the track is being well received on the pop scene. "Teaming up with Russ Castella was totally a blessing. He understands me and gives me a lot of creative control which has pushed me to grow in my music," O'So explains.
The video, which has received over 100,000 views in its first 3 weeks on YouTube, was directed by Scenario (50 Cent, Fabolous, Wyclef Jean, Swizz Beatz).
Quickly becoming an instant favorite with key tastemakers, the "Slumber Party" video has received adds at Billboard.com, Music.com, Official Heat, and Video Vision to among a myriad of others. The video is also airing in thousands of retail outlets both nationwide and in over 100 countries via the countries leading retail pool, DMX.
O'So Krispie has triumphed over many of life's setbacks including the death of her beloved Grandmother, the end of a relationship as well as the reality television quagmire. Yet she is springing back a wiser, more mature woman; ready to share her experiences and her music with the world. O'So explains, "Though the industry can be very competitive and it may seem a little cliché, I feel I am my only competition and only I know when I have exceeded my own expectations. I am the person who has to look at myself in the mirror at the end of the day and be satisfied. The Pink Album can be considered my freedom debut."
The Pink Album, which is scheduled for a Fall 2009 release, is full of high energy, full hearted songs and catchy melodies which O'So Krispie has been known to incorporate in her song writing.
