Computers Unlimited announces TIMS Software integration with ARTSCO's Rehab Anywhere Data®. Now TIMS Software imports patient, physician and insurance information from Rehab Anywhere® to enhance business operation efficiency.

Billings, MT (PRWEB) October 4, 2008 -- Computers Unlimited (www.cu.net) and ARTSCO (www.artscoinc.com) have partnered to develop new functionality in their software products, integrating data from Rehab Anywhere to TIMS software. The project has taken almost two years to complete, involving development from both ARTSCO and Computers Unlimited.

"The Rehab Anywhere/Computers Unlimited interface will allow rehab companies to greatly reduce their overall processing time from client intake to billing. Rehab specialists will have the power of performing the front end rehab work though Rehab Anywhere, and now, the information flows seamlessly to Computers Unlimited to assist the billing department," says Mark Malagodi, founder of ARTSCO and developer of Rehab Anywhere.

While Computers Unlimited strives to be a comprehensive business management system with their core TIMS software product, Rehab Anywhere provides additional patient rehab management that goes beyond typical business management. Thus, it is not uncommon for rehabilitation services to use both TIMS and Rehab Anywhere. Although there is some overlap in basic information tracked by both software systems, the replication ensures data validity.

Using Rehab Anywhere and TIMS software integration updates, TIMS users are now able to import physician, patient and insurance information from Rehab Anywhere, reducing the need to enter duplicate information into two separate systems. Kevin Silvernagel, manager of Project Management at Computers Unlimited, adds, "The additional ability to import order information is already in development, which will further increase business efficiency and reduce risk of manual input errors."

This latest integration was unveiled at Computers Unlimited's annual Users Group conference on September 8, 2008. Typically with new development, customers must wait until the next version release for new features. However, this integration tool is compatible with multiple versions of TIMS software and is available to customers today.
