San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 7, 2008 -- Inigral, Inc., the emerging leader of application development on the Social Web for higher education, has announced at Oracle OpenWorld 2008 that Inigral is the first service to offer real-time, event-based data integration with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0, the first SIS system to offer event-based data handling according to the IMS Global LIS specification.

IMS Global is a standards body that creates specifications governing the interoperability of data between solutions in higher education. The LIS specifications due for public release next February will be the first to establish real-time, event-based data transfer between data systems. Oracle is the market leader in interoperability through its release of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9 in August 2008. Inigral is the market leader in integrations with systems set up to receive exported data according to the LIS specifications.

Inigral is a pioneer of social web applications for education. Now generating wide interest is their white-label Facebook application, "Schools on Facebook".
