Two Companies Bring Best Practices in Training Software Requirements and Business Analysis to the Austin Professional Community.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 16, 2008 -- The St. Edward's University Professional Education Center, a local leader in professional training solutions, and Seilevel, a recognized thought leader in redefining how companies create software requirements, today announced a training partnership aimed at improving the skills of business analysts across central Texas.

As IT departments are cutting costs and becoming more efficient, global enterprises are recognizing that successful software projects begin with effectively defined requirements. They require their business analysts, project and product managers to be highly skilled at the craft of eliciting, defining, and managing software requirements. The PEC and Seilevel are satisfying that need with their revolutionary new class offerings.

"In today's challenging environment, companies are being forced to deliver software projects with fewer resources and smaller budgets. It is critical that these people have the tools to do their job. As a result, we're seeing an enormous demand for our training services," said Rob Sparks, Seilevel vice president of Sales and Marketing. "Our new partnership with St. Edward's University will allow us to help more companies face these challenges by preparing their teams to do more with less."

Among the classes available are Requirements 101 and Visualization. These two courses will arm business analysts with the tools they need to communicate their customer requirements effectively to IT.

"Business analysts and project managers can advance to the next stage in their careers while bringing valuable skills back to their organizations," said Rudy Rodriguez, director of the PEC. "The Seilevel team brings senior consultants, best practices and an extraordinary teaching methodology to every class."

Business analysts, project managers and product managers will be able to easily access Seilevel's revolutionary approach to software requirements training by signing up at the PEC Website.
