Bamboo U's new web-site, www.bamboo-u.com, makes the case for why students and the younger markets are chooosing bamboo for its environmental benefits, as well as its comfort.

Brentwood, TN (PRWEB) November 19, 2008 -- Environmentally friendly clothing is a growing trend in the fashion world and Bamboo U is establishing itself with cool, comfortable shirts for college-age women. Their new web-site, www.bamboo-u.com, uses articles, testimonials, and a fact sheet to explain the natural advantages bamboo has over more conventional fabrics.

"We have had incredible response to our shirts," said Jeff Fulmer of Bamboo U. "Younger people are conscious about what they consume, and that includes what they wear every day. When they find out how super soft bamboo is, they don't want to go back to cotton."

Our web-site will help us show people that you don't have to give up comfort to be environmentally friendly.
In her testimonial, Kaelah Beauregarde (one of Seventeen Magazine's "17 best dressed") wrote, "I can honestly say it is the single most comfortable thing I've ever worn in my entire life! It's like heaven in a t-shirt. "A+! I totally love it." (http://www.bamboo-u.com/index_files/testimonials.htm)

"It's most definitely the softest thing I've ever owned," adds Stephanie Mitchell. "After washing it, it only becomes softer! The colors don't fade at all, and its shape is still perfect. It fits very comfortably, and I would definitely purchase another." (http://www.bamboo-u.com/index_files/testimonials.htm)

While its super softness may be the most obvious advantage over cotton, bamboo's other unique features are detailed on the web-site page, "The Bamboo Difference." (http://www.bamboo-u.com/index_files/bamboo.htm). For example, unlike conventional cotton, bamboo requires no pesticides, insecticides, or chemical fertilizers to grow. As one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, it is incredibly sustainable and self-regenerating. Bamboo material is also very breathable and cool, wicks away moisture, and offers natural UV protection.

"We are excited about getting the word out about bamboo and Bamboo U," Fulmer said. "Our web-site will help us show people that you don't have to give up comfort to be environmentally friendly."
