(Vocus) November 18, 2008 -- The HealthSmart Company is pleased to announce a new sales and account management organization, as part of their strategy to maximize organic growth. Alex Arnet, Chief Sales Officer says, “Our belief is that a team approach of combining new sales with account management will help us exceed our sales and retention goals.” In addition, HealthSmart has recently invested in hiring top sales talent around the country to support the new company brand and products.
Account Management and Sales personnel will be merged and will now focus on new product sales, retention sales and client relations management. They will continue to partner internally to deliver superior service to their customers and coordinate their efforts with operations to make certain there is a smooth transition. As part of this realignment, the new Sales organization will be focused on two areas: Integrated Solutions and Specialty Solutions. The Integrated Solutions team will focused on selling and servicing employer customers and the Specialty Solutions team will be focused on selling and servicing payor customers. The new sales organization is responsible of selling and servicing all the HealthSmart innovative solutions including integrated employer healthcare solutions, networks (primary and secondary), care management, pharmacy benefit management, on-site employer clinics and information systems.
Charles Busch, senior vice president, is responsible for managing the national sales team and Lovie Pollinger, senior vice president, is responsible for the national account management team. As part of the aggressive national and regional sales strategy, HealthSmart has recruited and hired some of the industry’s top sales talent. HealthSmart is excited to announce the addition of five new vice presidents of sales: Vince Lupori (Chicago), Dave Thomas (Chicago), Jennifer Smith (Dallas), Joel Andersen (St. Louis) and Kevin Chambers (Austin). Our new sales executives bring successful track records, strong broker relationships and deep technical knowledge that is required to deliver aggressive sales results. Vince Lupori will be responsible for the Midwest, Dave Thomas will be responsible for sales in Arizona, Nevada and California, Jennifer Smith will be responsible for sales in Texas and Louisiana, Joel Andersen will be responsible for National Account Sales and Kevin Chambers will be responsible for sales in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
