The Mensa Home Test is designed to give a person an idea on what type of questions they might find on the Mensa Admission Test
The Mensa Home Test is designed to give a prospective test-taker an understanding of what to expect from American Mensa's supervised test. However, it is not mandatory for membership and is only available for those ages 14 and older. The Mensa Home Test will not qualify a person for Mensa membership. To learn more or to order a Mensa Home Test, visit www.us.mensa.org/MHT.

“The Mensa Home Test is designed to give a person an idea on what type of questions they might find on the Mensa Admission Test,” said Pam Donahoo, Executive Director of American Mensa. “By taking the test in the comfort of their own home, people will feel more relaxed and ready for the Mensa Admission Test. The half-price offer is an inexpensive and easy way to see if you could potentially become a member of Mensa, or encourage someone you know to test their brainpower.”

People of all ages have often already taken a test that qualifies them for membership in Mensa. More than 200 standardized intelligence tests are accepted for membership. These tests include the LSAT, Stanford-Binet and GMAT. A partial list of accepted tests and scores may be found at www.us.mensa.org/testscores.

If that doesn’t quite fill their stocking, try some of these creative ideas from the 2008 American Mensa Gift Guide, found at http://www.us.mensa.org/giftguide.

American Mensa is an organization open to anyone who scores in the top two percent on an accepted, standardized intelligence test. The organization has more than 56,000 members in the United States and more than 110,000 members around the world. Members of Mensa attend local and national events, join special interest groups such as astronomy and philosophy, and help out in their communities through various projects. For more information about Mensa, or to apply for membership, visit www.us.mensa.org or call (800) 66-MENSA.
