Grand Toys International Ltd. finalizes sale of International Playthings to Epoch Company, Ltd.
Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) December 3, 2008 -- International Playthings, Inc. has officially been sold to an affiliate of Epoch Company, Ltd., a purchase that was finalized on Friday, November 14, 2008. Epoch Co. Ltd. is the creator of Calico Critters of Cloverleaf Corners, a popular product line currently distributed by IPI.
"We are looking forward to an exciting future for International Playthings under the new ownership," said Michael Varda, CEO of International Playthings. "After many years of success with Grand Toys, we are eager to pursue continuing and growing success with Epoch, especially as we move into the New Year," added Varda.
In conjunction with the finalization of the sale, IPI will become a Limited Liability Corporation, changing its name from International Playthings, Inc. to International Playthings, LLC. Additionally, the management staff that existed under Grand Toys ownership will remain unchanged.
