The "Hybrid Lift" Combines Two Procedures (Lifting and Facial Volume Rejuvenation) for a Natural-Looking Face Lift

The facial plastic surgeons at Profiles Beverly Hills have developed a minimally - invasive procedure that offers excellent cosmetic results that last. The rage for a few years was the "minimally-invasive face lift" -Feather lift, Lunchtime lift, and the list goes on and on. But for anyone who is considering one of these procedures, it's important to understand that these are all variations of a "tuck up" procedure that, frankly, does not last. Today, more than ever, there is a variety of options that range from a mini face lift to the deep plane face lift - and now, the new Hybrid Lift.

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 29, 2008 -- The Hybrid Lift™ is performed through a small incision just in front of and behind the ear. The skin is lifted in the lower face and neck, but then we go into a deeper plane to lift the sagging tissues underneath the skin. It's this lift that actually creates a lasting, naturally beautiful outcome and minimizes bruising of the skin, shortening recovery time. All the tension of the lift is placed on these deep tissues so the skin can drape naturally over the jaw line and cheek bones without ever having a hint of a "pulled" look. The excess saggy skin is tailored and removed via the smaller incision which leaves less scarring and also leads to a quicker recovery.

Next, "facial volume rejuvenation" is performed using the patient's own fat, harvested from another area on the body (usually the abdomen). The fat is placed in areas that have begin to "hollow out" due to the natural aging process, restoring a fuller, more youthful look to the face.

Board certified facial plastic surgeons Dr. Peyman Solieman and Dr.Jason Litner developed the Hybrid Lift after listening to what countless patients were saying when it came to face lifts.

Why Hybrid? "Because we've taken the best of both face lift extremes and put them together into one lift without all the downsides", says Dr. Litner. "The Hybrid Lift gives our patients all the benefits of a traditional face lift but leaves only small scars that don't go up into the hairline. So, patients don't have to worry about hair loss or having their sideburns moved halfway up the scalp. There are no visible scars so patients can wear their hair in any style they like. And, unlike mini-lifts, the results really last! Because the small incision is combined with lifting of all the deep tissues of the lower face, patients get a lasting improvement that comes close to a full face lift."
