Print Audit Helps School Significantly Reduce Environmental Impact and Paper Waste

Print Audit, the leading print management software developer, helps significantly reduce King Edward VII School's printing costs and environmental impact.

Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) February 15, 2008 -- Print Audit, the leading print management software developer, announced today that Print Audit 5 has helped significantly reduce King Edward VII School's printing costs and environmental impact.

King Edward VII School is one the largest schools in Leicestershire, United Kingdom, serving 2000 students. The school also looks after the IT requirements of 20 feeder schools, who utilize the schools printer resources. After becoming dissatisfied with its previous print management solution, the school turned to Complete Imaging PLC, an independent Ricoh dealer, to help them find a new solution.

"I looked at other solutions in the market, only the Print Audit solution ticked all the boxes." said Jim MacKintosh, Curriculum Support Services Manager for King Edward VII School.

After installing Print Audit 5, King Edward gained complete control of their print environment. Staff members are now prompted to enter a department code, and students are given a print credit of 5 British pounds ($10 U.S Dollars). To help reduce unnecessary paper waste, Complete Imaging also ensured that each device was set to default to double-sided printing.

"Staff and students are utilizing the full functionality of the MFD's and we are now using considerably less paper -- down by 100,000 sheets per year. Print Audit paid for itself within 14 months, a really quick return on investment," said Jim MacKintosh. "We have achieved our objectives of reducing costs significantly, gaining a greater control of our resources and having far less impact on the environment."
