There is quite a wide spread fear about consumer debt in the U.S. with the subprime crisis being talked about daily on the news. Canadians need to know how get in control of their debt, so that they don't face the same subprime crisis issues.
Vaz-Oxlade mentioned that there is an epidemic of people in Canada, and all over the world, who are seeking help to get out of debt. She has received emails from people Canada, as well as in far away countries such as Australia, Singapore and the U.K. who have seen her TV show and are looking for ways to free themselves from the burden of consumer debt.
