Everest Poker is at it again with the wildly popular Avalanche event. This year the $1,000,000 poker tournament hosts its final round on board Royal Caribbean Cruises' luxury Navigator of the Seas.
Montreal, OC (PRWEB) February 21, 2008 -- Everest Poker (www.everestpoker.com) announced today that the 2008 Avalanche event final will see 10 finalists battle it out for a share of $1,000,000 while on board a luxury cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea.
As they compete for their share of the prize pool, the finalists will be on board Royal Caribbean Cruises' Navigator of the Seas. The cruise (29th May - 2nd June) will launch from Barcelona via Nice and Ibiza with the live final played out on board. While on board players and their guests will be in a bubble of luxury from start to finish as they stop at some of the most lavish and beautiful ports in the Mediterranean Sea.
Last year's winner, Frank Stumpf, from Germany, collected a cool $220,000 in the middle of the Ionian Sea. And, like last year's Everest Poker Avalanche 2007 tournament, nobody goes away empty handed. The final payment structure is below:

5th: $50,000
6th: $40,000
7th: $30,000
8th: $20,000
