Demandware Appoints Tony Leach EVP of Worldwide Client Services

Former Oracle and E.piphany executive joins leading on-demand ecommerce platform provider to lead growth in Demandware services business.

Woburn, MA (PRWEB) February 24, 2008 -- Demandware (www.demandware.com), developer of the breakthrough On-Demand eCommerce Platform, today announced the appointment of software industry veteran Tony Leach to Executive Vice President of Worldwide Client Services. In this role, Leach will assume responsibility for worldwide client services, support and training with a focus on scaling Demandware's customer service program through the company's dramatic growth phase. Demandware grew more than 200 percent in 2007 with similar growth forecasted for 2008.

Leach has more than 20 years experience leading some of the world's largest services businesses. Prior to joining Demandware, he was the EMEA Executive Vice President and General Manager for E.piphany since 1999. Leach also served as the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Consulting for Oracle and was employed by Oracle from 1994 through 1999, running an organization more than 13,000 people strong. Leach began his career with KPMG, becoming a partner of the firm in 1984. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Accounts, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
