CareerTV, home of the nation’s largest collection of online recruitment videos, has added several new services aimed at employers and job seekers.

San Francisco, CA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) February 28, 2008 -- CareerTV, home of the nation’s largest collection of online recruitment videos, has added several new services aimed at employers and job seekers.

The pioneering company is allowing employers from all industries to sign up for a free trial promotion to experience the impact of videos on today’s young job seekers.

Potential new hires are part of the ‘video generation,’ and in order for employers to get their message out to them, they have to have online videos about themselves
“Potential new hires are part of the ‘video generation,’ and in order for employers to get their message out to them, they have to have online videos about themselves,” says Jim Buttimer, CEO of CareerTV.

By signing up for the free trial, employers will not only be able to upload videos about themselves, but they can also add their own job listings, and include additional information about their organization and links to the careers page of their own corporate site.

In January CareerTV experienced its highest month of traffic yet, with over 300,000 unique visitors. Currently the site hosts more than 500 videos, ranging from employer-specific recruitment videos to career advice and Q&A videos. CareerTV addresses job seekers’ demand for career information through video, as well as employers’ demand for a professional platform to communicate their employment brands.

“CareerTV Community” is a new forum for young jobseekers to exchange experiences in preparation for job interviews, salary negotiations and other career issues. All site visitors are invited to post questions and answers. Visit CareerTv Community.

Another new feature, “Videos Playing Now,” appears on the CareerTV home page and allows visitors to see what other site users are watching.
