(PRWEB) February 20, 2008 -- WellStep, a metro Atlanta office-based, confidential treatment program for opioid dependence (utilizing Suboxone), alcoholism, and internet/gambling addiction announces its Executive Solutions program designed for business executives, professional athletes, celebrities and other public figures.

WellStep is located in a private, comfortable medical office center in Alpharetta, Georgia, an upscale suburb just north of Atlanta.

Executive Solutions is designed to give an additional level of privacy to executives, professional athletes, celebrities, and other high profile individuals who do not want their treatment to become public knowledge.

Unique privacy protections of the program include direct appointment scheduling with the medical director, after-hours and weekend services, and one-on-one counseling instead of group therapy.

WellStep can assist out-of-town patients in finding convenient hotel accommodations in the area.

WellStep offers Suboxone (buprenorphine) for selected patients who are dependent on painkiller medications such as Percocet, Vicodin and Oxycontin. For those struggling with alcoholism, Vivitrol (naltexone) and Campral (acamprosate) may be prescribed. An innovative, personalized treatment approach combining medical and behavioral therapies is utilized to help ensure long-term success.

Mark S. Banov, MD, MPH is Medical Director of WellStep. Dr. Banov received training in addiction medicine from the Harvard University School of Public Health. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Banov is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is on the medical staff of Gwinnett Hospital System.

Joseph Kirkpatrick, PhD and Susan Rosovsky, CCADC direct counseling services.
