Sheep Incognito Buzz Returns This Weekend to the South Carolina State Fairgrounds

Last year, Columbia area residents were buzzing about a major discovery in their art world: Sheep Incognito - Contemporary Sheep Art by Conni Togel. After long lines in 2007, Conni Togel's sheep exhibit will double the exhibition space and will return this weekend as a part of the Craftsmen's Classic Arts & Crafts Festival in Columbia.

Anderson, SC (PRWEB) March 6, 2008 -- Contemporary sheep artist Conni Togel is counting down the days until Columbia area residents will join in the fun with her new Sheep Incognito exhibit at this weekend's Craftsmen's Classic Arts & Crafts Festival. With this new display, sheep of all nations have finally found a voice -- a smorgasblog of mutton so-to-speak.

When you talk with Conni Togel about her sheep on canvas, she describes them as "cunning allegories packed in woolly wrappings - juxtaposed between reality and fantasy, in a world full of silliness and wry observations". For her, the sheep are "messengers of insanity and camouflaged comments on social and political happenings". "Sheep Incognito" is her response to the world's changes around us.

The Black Sheep of the Family
Sheep Incognito will feature over one hundred originals and limited edition giclee art prints that will make everybody enjoy art and smile. Look out for "Passing Gas", "Out of Place", "The Black Sheep of the Family", "Hairy Potter", "Bull-Sit", and many more...

The exhibit will open on Friday, March 7 from 10am to 8pm, Saturday, March 8 from 10am to 6pm, Sunday, March 9 from 11am to 5pm and can be found in the Cantey Building at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. The creations will then travel across the east coast, making stops in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.

In addition to Sheep Incognito, visitors will enjoy original designs and work from more than 300 talented artists and craftspeople from across America. There is something for every style, taste and budget with items from the most traditional to the most contemporary.

Don't miss out on the wildest sheep that everyone is talking about - and you just might discover their hidden agenda before they move on towards other pastures.
