Charming Picture Book Teaches Children the Joy of Participating in the Community

The Cake Thief by Sally Lee is a delightful children's book about a young robber who learns why it is better to give than to steal

Danvers, MA (PRWEB) March 7, 2008 -- The Cake Thief by Sally Lee is a delightfully illustrated children's story about love, redemption and friendship.

Lee's The Cake Thief tells the story of young Clarence, who loves to steal cakes from everyone in the neighborhood. But one day, instead of a cake, Clarence finds an invitation to a party which instructs him to bring a cake himself. What's a young cake thief to do?

Children will love the delicious story and colorful illustrations, while parents will approve of the gentle message that it's always much more fun to be a part of things that to watch from the sidelines. Accomplished artist Lee has created a bright, whimsical book that's sure to be treasured by children of all ages.

"The story is lively; the simple text is superbly enhanced by the whimsical art style. The result is a welcome and recommended addition to family, school and community library picture book collections for young children." Five Stars, Midwest Book Review
