Atomic PR Launches KidZui, the Internet for Kids

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2008 -- Atomic Public Relations (www.atomicpr.com), the leading source for alternative PR energy, today announced it was selected as agency of record and started work in February for KidZui (www.KidZui.com), the Internet for Kids, which exited stealth mode and launched nationally last week. Atomic PR collaborated with Kidzui executives on the launch plan, and served as lead agency for the company's launch in print, broadcast and online media. On an ongoing basis, Atomic will provide strategic consultation, classic PR services in print, broadcast, and online media, and related services in emerging media and digital video.

"Atomic has a great reputation and excellent track record in the consumer Internet community and their people are a good fit with us at KidZui," said Clifford Boro, Chairman and CEO, KidZui. "Atomic's mix of strategic thinking, creativity and tight execution has gotten KidZui off to a phenomenal start in a very short timeframe."

Many of us at Atomic have small kids, and after seeing the first demo of KidZui we were all total believers
KidZui was formally launched on March 19, 2008, changing forever the way kids ages 3-12 years old navigate their online world. KidZui is the Internet for kids. Not a virtual world like Club Penguin or Webkinz - not a filter that blocks "bad" websites - but the entire Internet, just for kids. The Kidzui web browser includes more than 500,000 kids websites, images, videos, and internet games at launch, with many more coming every week.

KidZui lets kids explore the vastness of the web, while parents feel safe knowing that each of the 500,000 websites, images and videos in KidZui has been reviewed by an editorial team of teachers and parents across the country, led by the former editor-in-chief of LeapFrog. KidZui also keeps parents involved in their children's digital lives by sending them a weekly update, and giving them their own login at KidZui.com to review and modify the types of content their child is able to experience online.

"Many of us at Atomic have small kids, and after seeing the first demo of KidZui we were all total believers," said Andy Getsey, co-founder and CEO, Atomic Public Relations. "With KidZui, kids love the ability to explore so many more things on their own, and parents love the freedom from worry and have the ability to participate meaningfully in their kids' online experience - it's great all around."

The KidZui management team has extensive experience in building world-class consumer software products with such partners as CNN, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Clear Channel Communications, Viacom, Sega and LeapFrog. The founders sold their last company to AOL.

KidZui's investors include Maveron, Emergence Capital Partners and First Round Capital.
