An increasing number of colleges and universities are reaching out to successful Latino entrepreneurs and keynote speakers as the choice for their commencement speeches in 2008.

Redondo Beach, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2008 -- An increasing number of colleges and universities are reaching out to successful Latino entrepreneurs and keynote speakers as the choice for their commencement speeches in 2008. Hispanic speakers are in high demand as their experience appeals to graduation audiences from a fresh, previously unheard perspective.

"While we have seen some interest in the past, in 2008 the link between education and success has aroused a greater interest for Latinos and other minorities to bring their message and vision of hope and opportunity to commencement ceremonies around the U.S.," said Leonor McCall-Rodriguez, President of the Latino Speakers Bureau.

Latinos speakers are emerging as a guiding voice for graduates as they begin to navigate career choices and opportunities. Professionals who seek to embrace the ever-increasing opportunities in global markets and multi-cultural business in the U.S. will surely benefit from the experience of these speakers
When Latin Force CEO, David Perez, gave the commencement speech to the Class of 2007 at University of Vermont's School of Business, the faculty and graduates were greatly inspired by his bright, humorous, and determined approach to the opportunities that life can put before you. It opened an avenue of communication between the speaker and the graduating class who in turn have encouraged him to continue to deliver this valuable message to other commencement groups at colleges and universities.

Shayla Rivera, born and raised in Puerto Rico, grew up with an avid interest in machinery and fixing things. Her degree in aerospace engineering led her to many years at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston and a career shift to psychology and motivational speaking. She also joined the comedy circuit and has flourished in entertainment, while remaining heavily involved in charitable and educational programs.

Author and motivational speaker, Victor Antonio G., has spoken at colleges and universities across the U.S. Raised in one of the roughest areas of Chicago, Victor successfully managed to escape poverty, drugs and violence. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and eventually became CEO of a multi-million dollar company.

Victor's international experience, having traveled to Europe, Asia, Lain America, the Caribbean, South Africa and the Middle East, gives him the unique ability to connect with diverse cultures on college campuses in a way that's both humorous and genuine.

Dr. Andrew Erlich, renowned multicultural marketing and business expert & author has also joined the commencement tour, as all these professionals respond to invitations from meeting planners and commencement event committees in many states. Dr. Erlich is a pioneering cross-cultural psychologist, researcher and author who teaches and writes about recognizing and freeing the power of human differences. He has presented his thought provoking and motivating ideas in Fortune 500 board rooms, at universities, hospitals, to the government and marketers. Andy learned Spanish before English and began his career with a call-in psychology show on Spanish Radio in Los Angeles.

"Latinos speakers are emerging as a guiding voice for graduates as they begin to navigate career choices and opportunities. Professionals who seek to embrace the ever-increasing opportunities in global markets and multi-cultural business in the U.S. will surely benefit from the experience of these speakers," concludes McCall-Rodriguez.

Founded in 2002, the Latino Speakers Bureau™ is a California-based corporation representing successful Hispanics and business leaders who are on the International keynote speaker circuit. Every year, its professional speakers travel across the U.S. and around the globe to host corporate and non-profit seminars, and address conferences and audiences with their message of inspiration, business expertise and diversity.
