Retail Space, Outlots, Build-to-Suit Still Available at Mid-Am Development Partners Project

Oak Brook, Ill. (PRWEB) March 31, 2008 -- Development has been robust at a new retail center underway at Caton Farm and Ridge Rds. in Joliet, Ill., 40 miles southwest of Chicago.

More than half of the center's 11,000 square feet of retail space has been leased, with occupancy scheduled for the third quarter of 2008. Tenants include Dunkin' Donuts, Rosetti's Pizza, a dry cleaners and a nail salon.

Ridge Road will eventually become a six-lane highway, and we're adjacent to Plainfield High School, which has 3,000 students.
Meanwhile, a 14,000-square-foot Walgreen's opened in December 2007 at the intersection of Caton Farm and Ridge Rds., on one of the property's seven outlots. Plans call for a 16,000-square-foot Aldi's to open in 2010.

"This is a great location, in the heart of tremendous residential activity in Joliet and Plainfield, where an estimated 16,000 new homes are scheduled to be built within three miles," said David Hene, vice president for Mid-America Development Partners (www.midamdevelopment.com), project developers. "Ridge Road will eventually become a six-lane highway, and we're adjacent to Plainfield High School, which has 3,000 students."

"We have 1,200 to 1,400-square-foot retail spaces available - all of which may be combined - as well as two outlots suitable for a bank or fast-food restaurant," said Jon Boyajian, Mid-America sales associate in charge of the project's leasing and sales. "There also is an opportunity for approximately 15,000 square feet of build-to-suit medical office space."

For more information, contact Boyajian at 630-954-7442.
