TBSI brings together more than 15 years of IT Service Management experience to deliver a new fast track tool kit to assist in adopting an ITIL approach and assist certified and non-certified staff to reap the benfits of the new V3 ITIL framework. According to Michael Bender, President of Tribune Business Systems International, Inc.: "Adopting a structured approach to IT Service Management can deliver large rewards in the form of increased profits, reduced costs, more efficient processes and procedures and better service delivery to internal and external customers. Using the ITIL methodology will enable an organization to plan a strategy for their IT services, design services that meet customer needs, implement these services and support them to desired service level agreements, while continuously improving the deliverables." He added that "Tribune's new partnership approach focuses on ensuring the organization not only considers each process, but trains staff to ensure they can continue to drive the methodology forward. "
TBSI adopts a unique approach to delivering products and solutions, ensuring an organization maximizes its potential. With the use of tried and tested products, TBSI offers organizational solutions that include resources and best practice knowledge to support and manage implementations, projects and achieving compliance.

(PRWEB) April 10, 2008 -- The Tool Kit: Combining our knowledge gained over the years through large IT management and implementation projects with the new V3 framework, Tribune offers a fast track integration pack.

Gary Keey, Solutions Manager for TBSI stated that: "Too often the ITIL approach is adopted as an after thought and organizations do not extract the maximum benefits possible. Training staff and adopting some aspects will help streamline processes in the short term but failing to consider all practices will reduce the impact and benefits of this approach. Our new fast track implementation, system is designed to provide a business with a base to develop their operational procedures. This enables an organization to customize the environment and ensure that it applies to their organization with minimal adjustment and effort."

The value to organizations with the combined product and service approach in this new offering are significant: Detailed processes represent how specific actions should be performed and the overall department or service inputs, outputs and actions feed into procedural based detail customizable by the organization. The industry experience and knowledge ensures each process can be applied within an organization and delivers to needs. Proven documentation is available to reduce time spent creating standard templates or documents to use within the business. It also ensures the correct information and detail is recorded at each step.

Key features and content within the ITIL Implementation Pack:
Process Expert Licence
Process Expert Maintenance & Support - 1 Year
ITIL Process Maps
ITIL Templates and Documentation
DotNetNuke Db and User Interface
ITIL KPI Templates
1 Days Installation and Training - Consultancy (follow on 25 needed)

With a comprehensive and easy to use KPI environment, an organization can immediately measure their performance at each level of the organization. This can also be used to assess progress in advance and during the ITIL implementation.

Documentation in the form of Business Case guidance and Process Assessments enable easy representation of the benefits of an ITIL approach. These assist in gaining the acceptance of the stakeholders and organization as a whole and the customers of IT Service Management.

With a browser based environment users are able to access the relevant processes, procedures and documentation easily across the intranet or internet. The editing is controlled through a simple process mapping tool, requiring minimal training (1 day) to become skilled in maintaining the content.

According to Michael Bender, Tribune now offers more than just products: "TBSI adopts a unique approach to delivering products and solutions, ensuring an organization maximizes its potential. With the use of tried and tested products, TBSI offers organizational solutions that include resources and best practice knowledge to support and manage implementations, projects and achieving compliance."
