Childhood Experiences from France are Brought to Life at the Spring Exhibit 'Objective Correlative' by Artist, Archeologist and Gem Expert, Eve J. Alfille

With only an invitation to the April 26th launch of 'Objective Correlative' customers have already attempted to purchase the one-of-a-kind, art-inspired jewelry.

Evanston, IL (PRWEB) April 25, 2008 -- Driven to create wearable pieces of art, Eve J. Alfille draws upon her past experiences for inspiration. The Spring Exhibit features a unique blending of colorful opals, the natural shapes of pearls, the beauty of black and clear diamonds and the mysterious shades of moonstones.

"The history of our lives is art," said Eve J. Alfille, owner of the Eve J. Alfille Gallery & Studio and founder of the Pearl Society. "I can remember a place in my life so vividly; I am 14 years old, wearing my first grownup clothing, a navy wool suit bought for me with too-long sleeves. I am newly taller and gawky in the picture, leaning against a tree, both infuriated and wistful."

Memories can be recalled by a simple touch. For Eve J. Alfille, it was an opal flower. "I have owned for some time a simple three-petal flower carved from opal," Eve reveals. "I could somehow perceive its unrealized loveliness, the later blossoming contained in its inchoate form, and its eventual travails and downfalls."

The Spring Exhibit brings the story to life, featuring a stellar cast of earrings, bracelets, rings, brooches and necklaces. You can find the full collection posted on our website at www.evejewelry.com after April 26, 2008.

For a one-on-one interview and a private showing of the collection with Eve J. Alfille, contact Cherise Kennerley at 847.312.1367.

To attend the Spring Exhibit visit the Eve J. Alfille Gallery & Studio located at 623 Grove Street in downtown Evanston on April 26th from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
