Don't Wash Away the Value of Your Car

Washing a car with domestic washing liquid or using a bucket and sponge can seriously damage the its re-sale value. Millions of motorists could simply be washing away the value of their cars. How can they prevent this.....?

Elford, Staffordshire (PRWEB) April 25, 2008 -- With the cost of motoring continually increasing for millions of car owners, many will now be seeking ways to offset these increases as soon as they can.

One simple but often overlooked way is by protecting and potentially increasing a car's value by valeting properly. It is possible to add hundreds if not thousands of pounds to a neglected car simply by proper car detailing - the new word for cleaning and polishing.

Whilst we can't change anything the current financial climate might throw at us when it comes to motoring costs, we hope that sharing our knowledge and experience will help others put the shine back and save a few pounds along the way
Robert Mobberley, Co-founder of www.performancemotorcare.com, the online retailer of specialist motorcare products first started his business career doing just that.

"We would spend a whole weekend detailing a car to sell and using the right tools and products would turn a right screamer into a real gleamer, making a tidy profit in the process"

However hundreds of thousands of car owners are continually knocking ££'s off the value of their cars simply by not being aware of what's good and what's not when it comes to car care.

Using some common household washing up liquids can be disastrous for a cars paintwork, stripping away its protective layers and letting the elements get in. Whilst simply using a sponge and only one bucket can severely scratch and dull a cars paintwork over time, again knocking ££'s off its resale value.

To help motorists turn this around Performance Motorcare have launched a series of free email guides on how to ensure motorists do not wash away the value of their cars. Guiding them on using the correct products, methods and tools when taking care of their cars.

At the same time learning how to save ££'s when it comes to protecting the value of their car, everyone who receives these free guides will also have a chance to win a professional Autoglym detailing kit every month.

"Whilst we can't change anything the current financial climate might throw at us when it comes to motoring costs, we hope that sharing our knowledge and experience will help others put the shine back and save a few pounds along the way" Robert concluded.

About Performance Motorcare
Performance Motorcare was set up in 2003 by husband & wife team Rob & Ali. Having always had a keen interest in classic and performance motors they found it frustratingly difficult to find the quality products in the UK that they desired to keep their vehicles looking in pristine condition. In 2003 they began a search both in the UK and internationally for the "best of breed" products that they could both use themselves and offer to others who found themselves equally frustrated in their search for quality motorcare products. Their aim is to provide 1st class products with a 1st class service.
The email guides are available by registering interest at: http://www.performancemotorcare.com/acatalog/Free_Detailing_Guide.html or the link on the home page.
