In the third and final segment of a three part video series in response to 'Zeitgeist, The Movie,' the non-denominational online ministry World's Last Chance examines erroneous claims and conclusions drawn from the movie.
The belief that has more support has a high propensity to be true

(PRWEB) April 10, 2008 -- As a reply to the acutely critical attacks on Christianity made by "Zeitgeist, The Movie", non-denominational online ministry World's Last Chance has released the final segment in a three-part series of video responses.

The latest video in the "Zeitgeist | The Response" series uses historically exact documentation and facts to discredit parallels drawn between Christianity and ancient mythology.

From the story of the great flood to the basis of the Ten Commandments, the "Zeitgeist" movie calls into question the origins of several Biblical events, implying that they derived from ancient pagan mythology.

To counter the allegations, Zeitgeist | The Response draws on documentation from historians, philosophers and scholars as well as logic and historical citation to uncover the truth.

Dahlia Doss of World's Last Chance implores the public to study evidence and historical facts before accepting a belief that discredits another.

"The belief that has more support has a high propensity to be true," she says. "But if you accept the belief of lesser evidence, you will just be accepting it as your own because it fulfils what you want to believe. When choosing between truth and error it is important not to fall into this trap."

Doss believes World's Last Chance's final video response is significant and she adds that rather than questioning the Bible, Catholicism should be questioned for resembling paganism more than a Christian religion.

"Rather than trying to make strong bonds with the weak connections that may be between Christian traditions and Egyptian beliefs, it would be more rational to note the apparent parallels between Catholic Christianity and Paganism," Doss says.
