Wheels N Waves is purchased by CarSmarts to form the largest free automotive magazine in Georgia.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 4, 2008 -- CarSmartsMagazine.com and Smart Media Solutions LLC announced today the acquisition of Wheels N Waves Magazine, northeast Georgia's largest biweekly used automotive and leisure equipment publication. Wheels N Waves serves the entire Northeast corner of Georgia, reaching as far as Athens, Winder, Watkinsville, Monroe Covington, Gainesville, and Toccoa. This acquisition includes the Wheels N Waves name, trademark, website and the continued use of their complete distribution network, provided by the Summit Agency.

CarSmartsMagazine.com is Greater Atlanta's most successful used car advertising publication, printing over 50,000 used car books each week. They have concentrated distribution at over 3400 points (including exclusive distribution for free automotive magazines at all Georgia QuikTrips). Currently, CarSmarts Magazine provides over 25,000 leads to dealers monthly. This alliance will tremendously strengthen both brands. CarSmartsMagazine.com plans to immediately increase distribution in Northeast Georgia by over 30%.

With the addition of Wheels N Waves, Smart Media Solutions will offer: Carsmarts.com; CarSmarts Magazine; CarSmarts En Espanol Magazine and the latest direct advertising solution-Mobile Graphics USA. Smart Media Solutions is working to maximize the benefits to local dealers of their print publications. The local familiarity of Wheels N Waves will be greatly increased by the expanded distribution. With the impressive quality of the used car publication this expansion will also incorporate leisure equipment sales into CarSmartsMagazine.com's current dynamic group of publications.

"We are confident that this re-alignment of both businesses into a streamlined operation is a win-win for all parties concerned. We promise to make this transition as smooth and beneficial for both our companies and our dealer advocates alike. We are looking forward to working with John Fairchild (Managing Editor) to increase our used car advertising presence in smaller markets like the cities in northeast Georgia," says Dan Fagan, COO of Smart Media Solutions.

With the "leisure" and travel season advancing quickly upon us, this couldn't have been timelier. Combining tax season and warm weather provides a unique opportunity for increased consumer interest in both of these markets.
