Former CEO Joins Growing M&A Firm in Richmond, VA; Targets International Expansion.
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) May 1, 2008 -- Boxwood Partners, LLC announces that Patrick Galleher has joined as a Managing Director and Partner at the firm. "He brings a unique combination of international business development, M&A, operating, and strategic execution skills to our firm." Prior to joining Boxwood, Galleher was the Chief Executive Officer of WILink plc (now known as PrecisionIR Group), an international investor relations and webcasting communications business with operations in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Continental Europe, and Sweden. Patrick was Chief Operating Officer at the time WILink went public on the London Stock Exchange, and led and integrated five acquisitions to expand the Company's capabilities and client base. In 2006, he successfully led the Company through a public-to-private sale to a NY-based private equity group.
"There are substantial opportunities in mid-market M&A, particularly when you look at the international aspect of the business," said Galleher, "Only a handful of firms have the skills and experience to advise on and market Trans-Atlantic deals.
