Three key employees promoted
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- James F. Reda & Associates, a New York-based independent executive compensation consulting firm, announced today the promotion of several key employees. As contributors to the company's growth over the past year, the firm promotes Kimberly A. Glass from Senior Consultant to Principal in its Atlanta office, David M. Schmidt from Consultant to Senior Consultant and Laurence I. Wagman from Senior Research Analyst to Consultant, both in its New York office.

With over 12 years of experience in the executive compensation field, Glass works closely with compensation committees and/or management of public and private companies in a variety of industries. Prior to joining James F. Reda & Associates in January 2007, Glass worked in Hewitt Associates' Consulting Group. Glass graduated from the University of Virginia, and began her career as a CPA for a Big 8 accounting firm.
Schmidt has over 20 years of experience and functional expertise in econometrics and customer research. Schmidt is an expert in the valuation of stock-based compensation arrangements, the review of senior executive compensation packages, modeling for FAS 123R purposes, and the design of special situation incentives and change-in-control programs. Prior to joining James F. Reda & Associates in 2004, Schmidt was a Vice President of Sales Operations at Peterson's, a division of the Thomson Corporation, and was also Vice President of Marketing Services at McGraw-Hill and graduated from Western Illinois University with a BS in Mathematics and MS in Economics.
Wagman is a Certified Public Accountant with over 11 years of "Big 4" public accounting experience, specializing in the taxation of executive compensation. His practical experience includes managing numerous golden parachute excise tax engagements, some of which include Fortune 100 companies and tax research relating to income, excise, and employment taxes. Prior to joining James F. Reda & Associates in 2007, Wagman worked as a Tax Manager with Deloitte and KPMG's Employee Benefit Tax Group. Wagman holds BS in Business in Economics from the Lehigh University and a MS in Taxation from Seton Hall University.
