Mobile field service software leader will leverage business services and tools, state, federal and international lobbying, and business networking services of the AeA

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 8, 2008 -- Agentek, a leading provider of real-time, mobile field service software solutions, announced today it was approved for membership in the American Electronics Association (AeA), a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry. The opportunity of tapping into AeA's vast local and international business network of member companies and access to invaluable business resources and compensation survey's, were just two of the reasons that Agentek decided to pursue AeA membership.

Agentek's mobile field service software solutions enable service-minded organizations to improve field force productivity and efficiency, reduce service related fuel, parts, and vehicle costs, and improve customer service and retention.

AeA provides a platform for the high-tech industry to have a unified voice on issues that matter to our industry. The AeA is the largest association of high-tech companies in the United States and provides an array of business solutions for employers and employees. With nearly 2,500 member companies, Agentek is joining an influential public policy force in the area of major interest and impact for information technology companies.

Richard Brock, SE Council board member of AeA states, "We welcome Agentek to the AeA Southeast Council, and we welcome Jeff Jarvis, CEO, back to AeA. The addition of their mobile field service software solutions and executives such as Jeff, strengthen our membership and voice in the technology community."

"AeA is an organization with its finger on the pulse at both the regional and national level," said Jeff Jarvis, President and CEO of Agentek. "AeA provides a platform for the high-tech industry to have a unified voice on issues that matter to our industry.
