Low back pressure helps keep exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) low and helps aid turbo performance and durability. The new Turbonetics Hi-Flow discharge eliminates the factory EBV, increasing airflow and reducing EGT's by up to 100 degrees. Turbo spoolup is also improved. The turbine housing attachemnt fits stock, Turbonetics, Garrett, and "USA" turbos.
The Hi-Flow discharge bolts-on quickly and easily and is a great stand-alone as well as a complimentary upsell item to go with the Turbonetics bolt-on Ford 7.3L Ceramic Ball Bearing turbo. The stock discharge outlet is 2.8 inches, and the Turbonetics Hi-Flow outlet is 3.2 inches ID.
