Buffalo, NY (Vocus) May 6, 2008 -- The Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) has awarded Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc. (ECS), the largest privately held demand response provider in the country, with the 2007 Demand Response Award for Outstanding Program Achievement.
This prestigious honor is given to an innovative program that meets long term needs or maintains viability during non-crisis periods. ECS’ “Five-Phase Approach to a Successful Demand Response Program” met the aforementioned criteria and proved through its international DR programs that they are deserving of the award.
The PLMA is a diverse association of leading energy professionals, including ECS’ Paul Tyno, executive vice president of program development for ECS, who is active in the organization, dedicated to developing and promoting consumer participation in electricity markets around the world using load management.
