HyperWorks Customers gain access to nCode's advanced DesignLife CAE fatigue and durability technology at zero incremental cost.
Altair and nCode have worked together for many years and our products have been closely integrated. We are pleased to take our relationship to the next level as a first round partner in the HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program

Southfield, MI (PRWEB) May 22, 2008 -- nCode, a leading developer of data analysis software, data acquisition systems and fatigue and durability solutions today announced that the company has joined Altair's innovative HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program. The new program provides HyperWorks customers with on-demand access to a wide range of applications that complement Altair's suite of applications. HyperWorks customers can use their existing licenses to tap into nCode and other partners' applications without any additional costs. Within this program, nCode will provide fatigue and durability analysis that HyperWorks customers can begin using without additional license fees.

ltair's partnership program includes best-of-breed applications and makes complementary enterprise software readily available to customers at a fraction of the cost of separate enterprise licenses. The program features an accelerated deployment process that enables customers to obtain and utilize partner software seamlessly, without requiring a new purchase order or extra licensing agreement. This reduces administrative and acquisitions costs for customers.

By using nCode's DesignLife in conjunction with HyperWorks, joint customers will realize significant benefits by streamlining the virtual fatigue and durability process. Designs can be optimized while still meeting durability targets, product recalls and warranty claims reduced, and standard approaches to all fatigue and durability analysis processes can be deployed across an organization.

"Altair and nCode have worked together for many years and our products have been closely integrated. We are pleased to take our relationship to the next level as a first round partner in the HyperWorks Partner Solutions Program," said Steve Tudberry, Vice President of Sales for nCode. "Feedback from pre-announcement customer meetings indicates a strong demand---we are expecting this program to help us expand our market share."

Altair's partner program is a fundamentally new approach to how businesses purchase their applications. It delivers services that were previously available only to larger companies because of licensing, procurement and administrative costs. It delivers a powerful alternative to the comprehensive product stacks offered by the software giants, yet it provides a significant advantage in comparison because it does not create vendor lock in. Altair customers will be able to select best-of-breed technologies from multiple vendors.

"Altair is pleased to extend our relationship with nCode and to have DesignLife available through our new HyperWorks Partner Solutions Community," said Michael Humphrey, Vice President of Partner Programs at Altair. "The nCode DesignLife suite is very complementary to the Altair HyperWorks applications. Our products are integrated to work together in optimized and comprehensive workflows. Now we are integrated from a licensing and business perspective."
